In other news … I hear last winter someone broke into the marina and set fire to all of their boats.
The source of unhappiness is Kennedy’s efforts to kill an offshore wind farm on Nantucket Sound. Cape Wind was to be the first such project in the US and a source of pride to environmentally-minded New Englanders. Polls show 84% of Mass residents in favor, but a handful of yachtsmen have thwarted plans. “But don’t you realize — that’s where I sail”

Quebec provincial police admitted Thursday that their officers disguised themselves as demonstrators during the protests at the North American leaders summit in Montebello, Que. The police came under fire Wednesday when protesters accused the force of planting undercover officers in the demonstration to provoke violence.
