Like Kikai93 says (I know the physicists are going to hate me for this but …) more money for robotics and less money for theoretical physics.

Let’s fix what we know, before understanding what we can’t yet fix or have no immediate application for.

I’m certain some theoretical physicist could spin a doomsday scenario out of nothing in response to this motion, but honestly, what are the chances of even THAT happening?

I wonder how this might tie into human flight.

Scientists funded by the European Space Agency have measured the gravitational equivalent of a magnetic field for the first time in a laboratory. Under certain special conditions the effect is much larger than expected from general relativity and could help physicists to make a significant step towards the long-sought-after quantum theory of gravity
