Failure breeds promise …

SpaceX’s Falcon 1 failed to achieve orbit after experiencing a roll anomaly, but the boosters worked brilliantly. The impact of this failure is not completely known to us at this time. Several DoD-affiliated experiments were onboard the rocket.
